HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
Varsity & Junior Varsity
Mill Valley fields both a Varsity & Junior Varsity team that compete in the LAKC Lacrosse League.

Any interested player is invited to attend any practice and learn what JagsLax and lacrosse is all about. If you are wanting to attend, we ask you to email or let a buddy on the team know. Coming to a practice requires NO EQUIPMENT, NO EXPERIENCE OR COMMITTMENT.

Preseason workouts begin after Thanksgiving. Regular season workouts begin end of January, games begin in March and will run through May.
Contact us if you are interested in coming to a practice, and learning more about our high school program.

This year we will kick off our season with a trip to Springfield, Missouri the weekend of February 24-25, 2024.

MY SON HAS NEVER PLAYED LACROSSE...
If he is interested in trying the fastest game on 2 feet and willing to work to learn the game, we want him!

WHEN ARE PRACTICES?
Pre-season and winter practices are 2x/week at various locations, including indoor facilities.
In season workouts are Monday-Friday after school at a location TBD. Most likely at Garrett Park in W. Shawnee.
WHAT DOES HE NEED TO PLAY?
All players will be provided their uniform and practice pinnie.
In addition to the uniform they need the following:
Stick (aka "la crosse")
Helmet
Shoulder pads
Elbow pads
Mouth guard
Athletic protector ( aka cup)
Cleats (football, soccer and lacrosse cleats work. Baseball cleats do not)
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
2023 fees are currently $550 for the season. This includes your uniform, pre-season and regular season practice 5x/week, and games.
Fees pay for game and practice locations, officials during game, and coaching.
We will have additional costs with travel games, but we do fundraising to help offset the costs.
Mill Valley Jaguar Lacrosse is a 501c(3) non-profit.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE GAMES?
Home games are played at Mill Valley High School. Away games are in locations in the metro determined by our opponent.
Games are during the week. JV starting at 6:30 followed by Varsity at 8:00.
